Implementation of RVP in physical education at elementary school in relation to pupils and their opinions (preferences)

The diploma thesis deals with the personal opinions (preferences) of 1st grade elementary school students regarding the implementation of physical education lessons in relation to the content level of the framework educational program. The diploma thesis is divided into theoretical part and a practical part. In the theoretical part of the thesis are specified in more detail the characteristics of the younger school-aged child, the physical activity of the younger school-aged child and the framework educational program Man and Health. In the practical part of the diploma thesis is carried out research in the form of a questionnaire survey of primary school pupils and formal interviews with the pedagogy of primary school. The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out whether the opinions (preferences) of pupils in the 1st grade of primary schools coincide with the content fulfillment of the goals of the framework educational program of pedagogy implemented in the lessons. The influence of a family in foming healthy lifestyle of a child with regard to geographical and generational factors

The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the value of health, a healthy lifestyle, stages of childhood and the importance of a family for a child. It represents the healthy lifestyle and children´s healthy eating habits, the importance of children´s physical activities and leisure activities for children with parents to prevent children's illnesses and drug use. It presents the results of a research study of HBSC Health Behaviour in School- aged Children. The practical part of the thesis presents the method of questionnaire survey used. It contains statistical evaluation of the data obtained, comparing them with regard to parental age and the place of living of the responding children. It reveals the present state of influences in families on emerging lifestyle of children in surveyed localities in the Czech Republic.

"Get Our School Moving"- project design and opening

This thesis deals with the creation of a plan of physical activities for basic schools and its following verifying. The theoretical part speaks about the health benefits of regular physical activity, it takes into account the relation of different age groups to physical activities, and it introduces the currents projects to support the interest in physical activities. The practical part brings a datailed plan of physical activity project for the pupils of basic schools and it gives the results and experience from its actual use and verification. It also offers a set of activities which the school can use with its pupils even if they are not participating on the project.
